The iconic Christiania cargo bike life began when Lars Engstrom designed and beautifully crafted a trike as a birthday gift to his wife for the specific purpose of carrying their children. There is always a beautiful story behind a beautiful design! They have been around for over 30 years now and the range includes many models designed to carry children (up to six), for business purposes such as delivery, marketing or as an inherent part of any trade. We also have the Taxi model which are specifically design to carry adult passengers.
The selected materials are warm, soft and user-friendly; the box has no sharp edges; no danger of scratching or fingers getting caught. All materials are of excellent quality, there are no cheap plastic parts that can fall apart. The design has been perfected for over three decades and Christiania bikes’ handling will provide you with a very comfortable ride. We stock all models and have years of expertise in building and selling them, carrying out maintenance and customising them to suit your needs and specific requirements.
