It’s always nice to know who you are dealing with.
Chandra
You know that person that always has a smile in the morning, the person you trust to sort out well, everything? Some people call that person the “lynch pin” we call her Chandra. Chances are if you ring our shop and a lady answers it’s Chandra. She’s the elastic that keeps us together.
Aside from being LGC’s Manageress Chandra has been right down there in the nitty gritty as a London Cycle Messenger so she knows London pretty well. When she’s not in the shop you can find Chandra with pencil in hand, expressing her natural talents here.
Roman
If you want to talk about what’s possible in the world of cargo bikes you need to talk to Roman. Aside from being the owner of the shop, Roman’s been the main Christiania mechanic in London for nearly 10 years. It was his passion and dedication to excellent workmanship on their bikes that convinced Lars and Annie the founders of Christiania to gamble and allow him exclusivity with their prestigious brand. While Roman does our servicing and our builds what really gets him talking is our customization work! So if you want to know if a customized cargo bike will work for your business, ask him.
Jacqui
We’re not like regular bike shops. When you’re a bit different, like we are, you can’t afford to wait for people to discover how awesome what you love is. We are out there creating and building the cargo bike market in London. That stuff, or at least some of it and the writing about it is up to me. I’m out there meeting people, brain storming with them, inspiring, developing and delivering cool things with even cooler people. I’m Jacqui; I’m a bike nerd but I’m new to cargo bikes which I think helps me relate. I’ve been given the best job ever – to get people excited about cargo bikes.
