Great example of what a council can do with their budget to promote cycling, we do believe that cycling does make a difference. Local councils have the power and resources to drive this change. More businesses, individuals and families using pedal powered vehicles have a positive impact on local environment and most importantly change the environment we live in. Urban spaces designed for cars bring more traffic, air & noise pollution to our cities. Cars zooming past and parked everywhere, something we all grew up with.
Who would think that cities can be different, that your children could safely walk or cycle to school, that we could leave our windows open without the constant noise and dust rolling in… Thank you and well done to Portsmouth city council!
