The Nihola tricycles have been around for 15 years, and are relatively new comers on the cargo bike market, but have successfully reached a high level of popularity in Denmark and beyond. The Nihola range now has eight products: Family, Dog, Rehab, Low, Flex, BIG, the Posterbike, bikes for the Danish Post and the 4.0, which was introduced in June 2013. The low centre of gravity makes the Nihola feel very stable. The complex ‘Ackermann’ steering provides an easy and intuitive ride. There are more than 10,000 Family models sold in Copenhagen alone.
“According to our test the Nihola was the fastest and easiest to steer cargo bike of all and provided the most pleasant ride….,” so was the judgement of the renowned Dutch Association of Cyclists (Fietsbond).
They come with different colours and matching hoods, making the whole bike very appealing. The overall finish and quality of fittings such as the seats and belts is impressive and largely contributes to the passengers feeling very comfortable and safe. And passengers come in all shape and forms!
