Free family cycling – Sunday 19 July
Join some family fun this Sunday from 11am at London Fields Lido, E8 3EU organised by Family Cycling Hackney. This is new group set up to coordinate group rides, share tips and advice over trying, buying bikes and equipment, including cargo bikes, courtesy of Carry Me Bikes. This month’s ride will end up in Millfields Park where entertainment will be provided by the free Tree Circle Circus. A bring and share picnic at around 1pm will finish what sounds like a fun day out. Anyone with an interest in cycling with children is welcome.
Mini Holland for Lea Bridge Road
You have until tomorrow, Saturday 18 July, to have your say in a couple of public consultations. Mini-Holland for Lea Bridge Road aims to change the area, making significant improvements for all road users, including cyclists. A garden party will also be taking place this weekend including a ‘Try a bike’ event on Saturday with cargo bikes at your disposal to try. Come and say hi to the Mini Holland team, they will be at Lloyd Park, Forest Road, London, E17 5JW.
